Terms of Service
These Terms are the agreement between you and Screwcap Games, LLC (“Screwcap,” “we,” “us”) for DTTAU — the website, the app, your account, and the Premium tier (the “Service”). By using DTTAU you accept these Terms.
DTTAU counts the things you do. It does not count as medical, fitness, or financial advice. See below, at length.
1. What DTTAU is (and isn't)
DTTAU is a personal life-achievement tracker: you log trips, runs, rides, workouts, books, and the like, and it turns them into a number. It is entertainment and self-motivation, not professional advice. Nothing in DTTAU is medical, health, fitness, nutritional, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, coach, or accountant. Train, travel, and spend responsibly.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live, to use DTTAU — and of the age of majority to purchase Premium.
3. Your account
DTTAU lets you sign in (via Google) so your data can sync across devices. You're responsible for your account and for the accuracy of what you log. Your logged data is yours; see the Privacy Policy for exactly what we store and why.
4. Premium & payments
DTTAU Premium (annual or lifetime) unlocks extra features. It is a limited, personal, non-transferable license — not money, with no cash value outside the app. Purchases are processed by Gumroad as the merchant of record, which handles billing, tax, and receipts under its own terms; we never see or store your full payment details. See our Refund Policy.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the data you log. To run the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, back up, and sync that data to your devices. We don't sell it, mine it for ads, or publish it. That's the whole arrangement.
6. Third-party integrations
If you connect Strava, Google, or another service, you authorize DTTAU to access the data you approve, and that provider's own terms and privacy policy also apply. You can disconnect any integration at any time.
7. Acceptable use
Don't abuse, scrape, overload, or attack the Service; don't reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows; don't resell access; and don't use DTTAU to break the law. We may suspend access for any of the above.
8. Intellectual property
DTTAU — its app, code, the Aiken coach, badges/rookie cards, art, and copy — is owned by Screwcap Games, LLC and its licensors. You get a personal, non-commercial license to use it. Third-party data (e.g. airport data from OurAirports, public domain) belongs to its sources.
9. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Screwcap Games, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of what you paid us in the prior twelve months or USD $50.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Walworth County, Wisconsin. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest stands.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes are reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continued use means you accept them.
